About Us

American Growers Company is a Pacific Palisades based firm specializing in landscape design and project management. Founded by a husband and wife team, Tracey and David Price work together to design, install, manage, and maintain the finest quality landscapes unique to Southern California. We pride ourselves on our commitment to superior customer service, respect for the environment, and dedication to the surrounding communities. We draw plans for an outdoor space that is an extension of the homes architecture and the homeowner’s lifestyle. American Growers Company works with our clients from the initial design consultation to the monthly maintenance of a complete landscape.

David Price received his degree in Horticulture and Agronomy from Horry-Georgetown. He worked in the family business, American Golf Corporation, gaining extensive experience in construction and management. A California State Licensed Landscape Contractor, he now focuses on the construction and installation of hardscape, pools, and pergolas. He also owns and manages two additional companies, American Heritage Landscape and American Landscape Incorporated. These companies focus on commercial and municipal projects, including the Palisades Village, Universal Studios Jurassic World, and the recently renovated Dodgers Stadium.

Tracey Price earned her degree in Fashion Design and Production from Orange Coast College. Orange Coast College awarded her the Mina Hutchinson Scholarship and she received honors on the President’s List and Dean’s List. After working in the apparel business for more than 10 years, she now applies her experience to the design elements of scale, texture and color in her landscape designs.

Tracey Price Garden Design began as a firm specializing in container gardens, window boxes, hanging baskets and orchids for homes and businesses. Joining forces, David and Tracey have grown their business to include entire front and backyards. We work closely with architects and contractors to achieve only the highest level of quality.

Both graduates of Palisades High School (1990 and 1992), we feel fortunate to return to the community we grew up in to raise our three children, David, Bennett and Audrey. We strive to maintain the charm and integrity of our unique neighborhood and preserve it for many future generations.
